Outdoor Lighting Installation

Installing a tree light with ladder

We consistently install:

  • Waterproof and mechanically secure wire connections, utilizing gel-filled plastic tubes to protect underground connections and adhesive-lined heat-shrink to protect above-ground connections from corrosive water. All connections are crimped, so they can't be pulled apart, offering a significant advantage over the industry norm of using wire nuts, which are much more prone to failure.

  • 12-gauge power wires, even at the end of wire runs where thinner, less expensive wire could feasibly be used. This practice ensures the prevention of excessive voltage drop - that is, energy lost as heat - in the long term, even if conductors do corrode. It also facilitates the expansion of lighting systems to incorporate additional lights.

  • Transformers, light fixture housings, and bulbs that come with lifetime manufacturer warranties, thereby reducing the need for maintenance. The only exception to this is for customers who prefer less expensive new or used options. In all cases, we’re transparent about the materials to be installed and provide detailed receipts.
